#selfcare #sleep #breathe

This is a tumultuous time where there is so much going on in the world around us with massive resources and constant attention allocated to managing corona virusĀ and its impact on this entire planet ... and our entire population šŸŒŽ

None of us would deny that.

IMHO,Ā it feels so strange compared to what's happening in our own little slices of that world.Ā The one where we've been asked to stay home. Just simply stay at home.

The lucky of us still have work to do and loved ones around. But, at least for me, the quiet and simplicity of just staying home is in starkĀ contrast to the reality of what's happening in the world at large.

The uncertainty of how COVID will impact our towns, cities, communities and our policies, economy, businesses and employment is nearly impossible to fathom.

And, the emotional burden is heavy.Ā 

In light of that, we have created two audio tracks to bolster your #selfcare regimen.

The first is to help you sleepĀ šŸ’¤Ā We all need more sleep. This track will take you through yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to help you fall asleep or help you fall back asleep if you wake up in the middle of the night.

Ā The second is to chill out, relax, relieve anxiety and de-stress. It's a simple breathing exercise to shift your nervous system from "fight or flight" / stressed mode to restoration and relaxation.
