Strong means STRONG.I don't know about you, but I consider myself to be pretty strong. I have endured a lot of ups/downs in my life. But I want to be (and stay) ACTUALLY strong. Strong like: 💪 🏋🏻 🤸🏻♀️
Because, I want to be strong, flexible, and agile when I am 80 years old. 8️⃣0️⃣.
And right now as a 52-years old, I understand VERY CLEARLY these two things:
1) I am not going to SUDDENLY wake up on my 80th birthday and have that kind of body - a body that is lean and shaped with toned (not huge) muscles, that has very little joint pain (let's be honest here), where my joints (ALL my joints) have good range of motion, where I am standing up straight and not hobbling around hunched over. A body that gives me agility and control. A body where agility and control perpetuate my beauty and grace.
2) If I am lucky, when I turn 80 my body will be only a SLIGHTLY deteriorated version of the one today. If I am lucky. So an optimal body today at 52 will be the best way to ensure an optimal(ish) body when I am 80.
I want this for you, too. Why?
Because, I want a world full of radiant, vital 80-year old women friends to run around the world with doing whatever we want - running marathons, swimming with dolphins, dancing on the beach until the sun comes up, protesting in the streets taking down the patriarchy. At the very least, to be able to get in and out of a car without a series of moans and groans when we meet each other for lunch. #allthethings

I've taught thousands of yoga classes, trained hundreds of people to become yoga teachers. I know bodies, how they move and how to get them to move better.
