What is data-driven menopause wellness?
Data. It’s everywhere.
We love data because data drives knowledge. And, knowledge empowers our decisions. When it comes to making decisions affecting our wellness and well-being, we crave more. More data, more knowledge, more power, and ultimately more control.
MIGHTY Menopause® is changing the way you take supplements. How? By giving you better supplements, and syncing them up with data. Your own data. When you subscribe to MIGHTY Menopause® supplements, you get access to our Wellness Data Service (WDS). MIGHTY WDS is our unique (and seriously easy) method of building your own personal wellness data set. It’s your personal menopause symptom tracker. Monitor where you’ve been and make informed decisions to get where you want to go. MIGHTY supplements + data. That’s where the magic happens. That’s data-driven wellness.

We’ve all heard it called “the change”. After talking to over a hundred women about menopause, it's clear that most women don’t even know where to start – who to talk to, what to read, what to do about “the change”. You gotta start with the basics. At MIGHTY, we have put together the basics for you here, here, here, here and here. In other words, start here. With us.
Symptoms happen. Severe changes in hormone levels can cause heavy bleeding and hot flashes, changes in sleep patterns, vaginal discomfort, joint pain, and anxiety or depression. And, fortunately, symptoms can be addressed. And then you’re on the way to menopause well-being.¹⁸
MAKE A CHANGE
You know when you’re off. You know when changes are afoot because symptoms arise. And then when they are bad enough, you do something about it. For your own well-being. And, for everyone in your life. Because when you’re not 100%, you feel it and...
You know when you’re off. You know when changes are afoot because symptoms arise. And then when they are bad enough, you do something about it. For your own well-being. And, for everyone in your life. Because when you’re not 100%, you feel it and everyone around you may feel it as well.
From the beginning stages of early menopause to the final years, we know you need an effective solution. Maybe you’re exhausted, feeling emotional mood swings, having crazy periods, or feel like your overall quality of life has diminished in some way. It happens. Then you do something about it.
And this is what you choose - natural supplements. MIGHTY Menopause® Supplements are designed using highly-effective ingredients so you can get back to your amazing life as quickly as possible. Our flagship Formula 4|5 is designed for early perimenopause and the common symptoms that arise. (It's different than post-menopause). It's convenient, data-backed and 100% plant-based. Perfect for the modern woman We get you. And we got you.
SEE THE CHANGE

We do so many things so we can feel better - eat better, quit coffee, go to the gym, meditation, take supplements. With supplements, it’s not uncommon that we forget why we are even taking them! And, we often can’t figure out if they are actually working. MIGHTY is changing that. With our Wellness Data Service (WDS). Our WDS starts with daily notifications and weekly symptom check-ins. We then take this data and show you how you’ve fared over time with a simple link to your progress chart. No clunky apps. Personalized and customized for you. All at your fingertips. #revolutionary.
Then, you can BE THE CHANGE you want to see in the world (thank you, Gandhi). At MIGHTY, we want to change the world for women by understanding how women experience menopause. Your individual data can help shape what we know and what we do about women’s health at midlife and beyond, if you choose to share it (anonymously, of course). How cool is that? You can be part of the change. You choose if you want to contribute your data to the greater cause. And, if you do, we will get you some sweet data back.

All humans born with a uterus. 50% of the entire planet. That’s who. More specifically, we are talking about the 43 million women in the US right now in their 40s and 50s who are in the midst of this transition.⁸
They are educated, affluent, tech-savvy and lead more complex lives than any generation of women before them. They are GenX women who believe they can have it all and do it all.⁹

Definitionally, it is the point in time when a woman no longer menstruates. It is conventionally measured after 12 consecutive months without a period. However, like puberty, menopause is a multi-year transition where a woman’s hormonal profile fundamentally shifts from one profile to another. The transition has distinct phases:¹⁰
- Perimenopause (essentially when things start to go haywire)
- Early post-menopause (when the periods have stopped and your body is finding its way to the new normal)
- Later post-menopause (when your body has found its new normal.)
Commonly, symptoms arise at perimenopause and early post-menopause. Some women have symptoms, some do not. If you are experiencing symptoms bad enough to impact your daily life, that’s a sure sign changes are afoot and it’s time to do something about it.

The average age of menopause is 51 in the US and the UK.¹¹ More or less. Because we lack good data, all we can say is it generally starts in the 40s and ends in the 50s. Some articles say that average years of symptoms is 7ish, some say that symptoms can last more than 15, some say 4-5 years after the last period. There will always be outliers. Piecing it all together, it’s safe to say that symptoms start in a woman’s mid 40s, periods stop around 50 and symptoms can persist for about 5 years after that.
When do you know? When symptoms start to show up. Typically in perimenopause, period cycles shorten, periods get heavy (they call it “flooding” for a reason) and more emotional volatility occurs (anxiety, depression, anger). ¹⁰

First, why do symptoms arise during the menopause transition?¹¹ The hormonal profile shifts from the steady pattern of a woman’s reproductive years. As she reaches midlife, the pattern gets disrupted.
Typically, estrogen production starts to go haywire – super high and more volatile. High estrogen causes heavy bleeding and the volatility causes mood swings, hot flashes and night sweats. Waning progesterone causes shorter cycles.¹²
Then we also have to ask ourselves why menopause? Why do we live so long? Female humans are one of the few mammal species that live beyond their reproductive years. In studying the matrilineal menopausal killer whale, we get the grandmother theory: wise elder female is critical to the survival of her family and of her species. She doesn’t compete with the younger generation of female for resources. She imparts essential life skills across generations. And so, applying that to the elder human female, she is also critical for the survival of her family and her species. Critical. At MIGHTY, we agree with this wholeheartedly.¹³
It’s a new world. And, menopause feels stuck in the past.
It’s time to change that.
Innovation with heart.
Innovation is great. It is literally what moves the world forward. We, at MIGHTY Menopause®, are not into innovation just for innovation’s sake. We call it innovation with heart. Because at the heart of it we care about you - a modern woman at midlife and all your beauty and complexity.
Women at midlife have not been researched extensively.¹⁵ We are misunderstood and underappreciated. Yet, we are increasingly an essential and powerful part of society as mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, wives and former-wives, widows, employees, managers, senators, CEOs, philanthropists, activists, scientists and visionaries.¹⁶ MIGHTY innovates for all of us. Innovation for us to thrive.
At MIGHTY, we innovate supplements because we believe it’s long overdue. We innovate on how we take supplements and how we track changes to symptoms. We innovate on personal menopause wellness data and how we understand and analyze symptoms over time. We innovate on a tailored digital experience because it is the 21st century. All this innovation with us, women at midlife, at the heart of it.
Innovation with heart.
